Thank you for posting your comment about Dell’s environmental programs. It’s very nice to know someone is working on the issue, and it’s even better to actually know that a concerned consumer’s voice has been heard.

I work on environmental programs here at Dell. Thanks for bringing this to our attention. We are changing the way we package our products based on customer feedback and our commitment to be the “greenest” technology company on the planet: http://direct2dell.com/one2one/archive/2008/02/27/45861.aspx. We’re looking at every possible way we can reduce packaging and shipping whenever possible.
